About Us - 🌟 My Kids Love Life
Welcome to My Kids Love Life: A Business Program for Kids, With Parents on Board
We’re excited to welcome you and your child to My Kids Love Life, a unique program where kids learn to build, sell, and grow their own online brands — all while learning real-world business and money skills.
This is more than a lemonade stand. It’s about preparing kids for the future, building passion, and making sure they have fun doing it!
1️⃣ Parent Commitment
We can’t do this without you!
- Bank Account: Each child needs a parent-supported bank account to receive earnings.
- Business Name Registration: We will register each child’s brand name at the county/state level (with parent involvement).
- Availability: Parents are responsible for making sure their child is available for our once-a-month meetings (in-person or virtual).
- Ongoing Support: Parents will be part of a parent communication channel (e.g., Slack) for questions, updates, and sharing resources.
2️⃣ Kid Participation
This is their adventure — we want them to take the lead!
Monthly kids’ sessions after each parent/kid meeting, where I’ll teach:
- Branding
- Creating merchandize (most of the time will be spent on this section)
- Finances and savings
- Taxes and pricing
- Marketing and selling online
- Understanding profit and expenses
Kids will have access to a dedicated Slack channel to ask questions, share successes, and receive feedback at any time.
Kids will help create products, design their online brand, and can even appear online using avatars (no real names or faces required).
They’ll be encouraged to journal or write about their experience, so they can track their growth and learning.
3️⃣ Revenue & Profits
Here’s how the money side will work:
Each child’s product sales will generate a net profit (after payment gateway fees, shipping, Shopify costs, etc.). We will teach them what real profit means! All finances will be available for any parent and child in the store. Reports are available for everybody.
We will set up affiliate accounts for each child/parent, so they can earn additional commissions if they promote other kids’ products or if their products are promoted by others.
Parents are encouraged to help share and promote their child’s brand within their networks (family, friends, social media — always with safety and privacy in mind).
If we decide to run advertising campaigns, it will be discussed and agreed upon by all parents, and contributions will be shared.
4️⃣ My Role & Contribution
Here’s what I will be doing:
- Managing the online store and handling backend operations.
- Hosting monthly meetings and extra sessions anytime kids need help or inspiration.
- Providing educational videos and resources (Eisley has already started helping with this!).
- Helping kids document their journey and cheering them on every step of the way.
- Supporting them toward long-term goals like saving for college or future dreams.
5️⃣ Parent Talents Welcome!
We would love to use the talents of the parents involved, whether you can help with marketing, design, social media, finances, or other business areas.
This is a community effort!
🌟 Exciting Program Additions
To keep things fun, motivational, and creative, we’ll also include:
💡 Parent Workshop (Kickoff Event):
At the start, we’ll hold a session just for parents to walk through tools like Slack, affiliate links, product setup, and how the store works. And I think we should have quarterly meetings. You are also encouraged to be on all meetings if you so desired.
💡 Kids’ “Shark Tank” Pitch Nights (Every 6 Months):
Kids will get a chance to pitch their product ideas to the group — building confidence and presentation skills while celebrating each other’s creativity.
💡 End-of-Year Celebration or Showcase:
At the end of each year, we’ll host a virtual or local event where kids can show off their work, share their stories, and celebrate their achievements together.
The Big Goal
This program began because I wanted my grandkids to learn how to run a business, save money for college, and explore their creativity. Now, I want to offer that same opportunity to your kids.
Together, we can help these young entrepreneurs grow their confidence, financial knowledge, and life skills — all while having fun and building something they’re proud of.
This next part is what we will all sign!
Parent & Kid Commitment Agreement

This agreement ensures that all participants understand the commitment, responsibilities, and goals of the program.
Program Overview
Kids will design, market, and sell products online.
Monthly meetings (parents + kids) plus follow-up learning sessions for kids.
Access to ongoing support, resources, and learning through Slack and program materials.
Focus on real-world business skills: finances, marketing, profit, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.

Affiliate & Revenue Agreement
Each kid/parent will receive an affiliate account + link to track promotions and sales.
Revenue will be calculated as net profit after payment gateway, Shopify fees, shipping, and app costs.
Kids will learn how to read profit and loss, not just sales numbers.
Safety & Online Presence
Kids are not required to be publicly online.
If desired, we can create avatars or brand mascots for their online presence to keep things fun and safe.
Parents will approve all public-facing materials or promotions.
Agreement Duration
This is a 12-month program commitment, with the hope that many families will continue beyond.
